Title: You've Been Warned
Author: Patterson, James
The story is basically about a young woman who is an aspiring professional photographer, employed as a nanny, and involved in a risky relationship with an older married man - her boss. This book was like my daughters recent attempt at making brownies. She had the recipe and all the best ingredients lined up on the counter. Somehow she managed to forget to add the eggs. After baking the gooey stuff in the oven for nearly twice the time required she finally conceded to failure and begrudgingly scraped the mess into the trash. This was my first James Patterson book and it did have potential; initially interesting characters, easy to read. However, the unremarkable story line, serious lack of cohesion and the exaggerated use of dejavu resulted in a literary Sa-NoozA-hEr. Well, there ya have it... "You've Been Warned".
