Born in Italy and presently residing in Toronto, Michael Mirolla is a Canadian short story writer and novelist with numerous publications in magazines and journals in Canada, the U.S., and Britain. His collection of short stories - The Formal Logic of Emotion - featured a story that appeared in the Journey Prize anthology, which brings together the best fiction published in Canada in the previous year.
