Book Review: I read this book before reading The Everything Store by Brad Stone. I didn´t think it was as detailed as The Everything Store but it adds many interesting and different perspectives and insights about the Founding of Amazon.com and its early days. I do recommend reading it for those interested the eCommerce and startup atmosphere.

Book Review: Sam Walton is a excellent example of American entrepreneurship and the pursuit of the American dream. The book chronologically narrates both Mr. Walton´s personal and business life. It´s filled with examples of challenges and perseverance. Nothing was ever easy for Sam Walton but with a lot of hard work and ingenuity he pushed the growth of the company forwards. It is awesome to see that no matter how much the company grew Mr. Walton kept his humility simplicity and focos on his goals. The book contains lots of interesting information about the whys and hows of the Walmart company we know today even as to why it was named WalMart. The Book is easy to read and has inserts from people who worked with him. Its a great read!
